This edition includes an excerpt from Amma’s 2021 Vishu message, water conservation tips from San Ramon, tips on eco-friendly cleaning, gardening resources, an inspiring look at Saukhyam Reusable Pads and a fascinating examination of the services whales provide to our environment.

Spring brings renewed hope and inspiration and even a light at the end of the COVID tunnel. Nature provides a perfect example of resiliency while giving us everything we need. Amma says:

Nature is an open book. She is an inexhaustible treasure trove of knowledge. However, her knowledge cannot be imbibed with the mere intellect. For this, the heart is also needed. Only then will that knowledge become complete.

GreenFriends strives to communicate the importance of treating Nature with respect and gratitude. We invite each of you Green Friends to share your ideas and experiences with your own gardening efforts as well as experiences with nature.

Please send your stories, comments and feedback to info@greenfriendsna.org
