Four personal reflections of devotees highlight this month’s newsletter: a recounting of an experience of Creator and Creation being One in a cave in Ireland; the spiritual qualities of nature, forest bathing and the gentleness, trust and surrender of trees; the incredible selflessness of bees; and the amazing sentience of trees and how they communicate. Followed up by an inspirational description of the Plessis Ecovillage in France.

The Sentience of Trees
Plessis Ecovillage
Time once again for the winter solstice, the darkest time of year in the northern hemisphere. While it is the darkest time, it also signals the return of the Light. Whenever it seems like we are at our lowest ebb, be it war, disease, politics or ecological disaster, there is always hope. Light and Love will always win out. Ma Om.
May this issue inspire more people to focus more on Mother Nature for Peace inside and outside, to contemplate our relationship with Her, to value Her, and put more effort into caring for Her in small and big ways.
GreenFriends strives to communicate the importance of treating Nature with respect and gratitude. We invite each of you Green Friends to share your ideas and experiences with your own gardening efforts as well as experiences with nature.
